The daughter of farmers, Valérie Lemercier grew up in Guerville, Seine-Maritime, and then follows the progress of Jean Chevrin at the conservatoire of Rouen1. It begins in 1988 with the series Palace. She worked in film, began a solo career on the boards, feels of the song as a dilettante before embarking in the realization. She succeeds Antoine de Caunes, Alain Chabat, Edouard Baer and Gad Elmaleh for the presentation of the ceremony of the Caesars on Canal+ in 2006 and 2007, which she hosted with humor and offset. We will remember in particular the tribute to Gérard Oury where she takes a scene from The Adventures of Rabbi Jacob, in which Louis de Funès was performing a traditional dance of the jews.
On November 5, 2008, it ensures the re-opening of the Palace in Paris with a new one-woman show. In 2009, she lends her talents as an illustrator to the dictionary Le Petit Larousse illustré2. On February 27, 2010, it takes over the reins of the Caesars, alongside Gad Elmaleh.
In 2011, she was the celebrity invited to parade on the podium of the parade of ready-to-wear, Anti-cult of youth Jean-Paul Gaultier.
She was the companion of the musician Bertrand Burgalat, and remains discreet about her private life.
