Primarily known for his character of Alain Dulac in the hit tv series Under the sun, Stéphane Slima, a former student-intern at the Comédie-Française, has turned in many works in cinema as in television. It is also a theatre actor, who has played in many of the rooms. In April 2011, he announced publicly his homosexuality. In 2012, he agrees to resume his role as Alain Dulac in the rest of the series Under the sun. He died on 26 August 2012, at the age of 41 years, died of a stroke, while he was on vacation in her home in Rivedoux Plage on the island of D3. He is buried at La Rochelle. The first episode of season 1 of Under the sun of Saint-Tropez, issued on 2 march 2013, is dedicated to him.
