Serge Rezvani, né le 23 march 1928 in Tehran, is a painter, a writer (novels, plays), as well as an author-composer-performer of songs (it is called multi-indisciplinaire). He has written more than 40 novels, 15 plays and two collections of poetry. He is the author of more than 150 songs, including the famous Le Tourbillon (life), sung by Jeanne Moreau in the film Jules and Jim, and I have the memory fails, also interpreted by Jeanne Moreau (he wrote these songs under the pseudonym of Cyrus Bassiak).
