Rosalia Maggio

Rosalia was the last of the members of the family May, whose ancestors were Mimì and Antoinette: sister of Enzo, Dante, Beniamino, Pupella and the smaller Margherita, was famous for her seductive beauty.

He was born in Palermo, because his parents were on tour there.

The debut on the scene, it came to pass, as it was necessary at the time, very early: at four years old she climbed on stage in his mother's arms in the drammone Mastu Giorgio 'or ferraro.[1]

It was, in the course of her career, actress eclectic and sensual, passed without difficulty from variety to variety, from drama to the theatre of naples, passing to the the operetta, " the magazine, but also strip-tease, which gave a period of financial difficulty.[2] In the sixties was also interpreter of many films, among which stands out in a film with Totò and Peppino De Filippo, from the title Totò, Peppino and the fanatics out there. He formed a theatre company with Giacomo Rizzo, where it remained over the years an artistic partnership.
