Rolf Moebius

Rolf Moebius was on 27. July, 1915 born in Riesa, Saxony, the son of a bridge-Builder, and grew up in an artistically influenced parents ' house, his mother – she died, as their son, Rolf was only 15 years old – was a pianist, his grandfather, and chamber musician. Early Moebius discovered his love for acting when he took over at the Age of 15 in a school production, the staging and the main role for the image of iron "dance of death" by Gottfried Haaß-Berkow (1888 – 1957). A year later he left school, gained his first professional experience on the stage as an extra on the city of Dresden theatre, decided finally for the profession of the actor. He received a scholarship to the "State acting school" in Berlin, in 1937 he made his statements.
