Rolf Moebius was on 27. July, 1915 born in Riesa, Saxony, the son of a bridge-Builder, and grew up in an artistically influenced parents ' house, his mother – she died, as their son, Rolf was only 15 years old – was a pianist, his grandfather, and chamber musician. Early Moebius discovered his love for acting when he took over at the Age of 15 in a school production, the staging and the main role for the image of iron "dance of death" by Gottfried Haaß-Berkow (1888 – 1957).
