Peter Steen

Peter Steen

Peter Steen was born in Randers in 1936. He was a student in 1954 and studied medicine a few years. In 1960, he was admitted to The royal Danish Theatre elevskole, and in 1963 he was hired at the theatre. In 1974 he became a freelance and played a variety of roles bl.a. at the Rialto Theater, the Folketeatret, and the Odense Theatre. Since the end of the 1970s he has been director of a number of plays. He has been married four times, bl.a. with væversken Kim Naver and the actor Lisbet Lundquist. In his memoirs, "Thank you fate" provides a clear insight into his life and career.
