Louis Farrakhan Sr., born Louis Eugene Walcott, formerly known as Louis X, is an American minister and political activist. He is the leader of the Nation of Islam (NOI), an organization which the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) describes as black nationalist, black supremacist and a hate group.
