Juergen Raps

Jürgen Raps career is unique. He was allowed to land as the first West German in the East. He flew the first cargo plane, he piloted the first Boeing 737 and the first A 380. After 41 years, he now has his last flight with lots of Surprises from his long-time colleagues. We were at the time of his flight from Frankfurt to San Francisco and back. Jürgen Raps was on 11. August 1951 in Bayreuth born and began after graduating from high school in the fall of 1970 in Bremen, the two-year training to be a pilot. Subsequently, he was assigned as a Copilot on Boeing 737 and McDonnell Douglas DC 10. In 1984, the appointment of a flight captain on the Boeing 737, followed. From may to November 1990, Jürgen Raps is a graduate of the advanced management training for Lufthansa in the European Business School, to apply in December 1990, the management of the Lufthansa pilot school in Bremen.
