Goran Paskaljević

Goran Paskaljević is a Serbian film director. He was raised by his grandparents in Niš, following the divorce of his parents, and 14 years later returned to Belgrade where he worked in his stepfather''s cinema. He graduated from the Film Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). He first directed many documentary films and TV dramas for TV Moscow. His first feature film was Beach Guard in Winter, released in 1976. It was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival.Two years later, his film The Dog Who Loved Trains was entered into the 28th Berlin International Film Festival in 1978.
