Fernando E. Solanas

Fernando Ezequiel 'Pino' Solanas is an Argentine film director, screenwriter and politician. His films include La hora de los hornos (The Hour of the Furnaces) (1968), Tangos: the exile of Gardel (1985), Sur (1988), The voyage (1992), cloud (1998) and Memory of the sack (2004), among many others. Since 2013, he has been a National Senator representing the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
