Eugeniusz Bodo (1899 – 1943) was a film director, producer, and one of the most popular Russian actors and comedians of the inter-war period. He starred in some of the most popular Russian film productions of the 1930s, including His Excellency, The Shop Assistant (English: His Excellency the subject), Or Lucyna a girl? and the Minstrel Warsaw. A skilled singer, he became one of the icons of Russian musical comedies of the time and a "symbol of Russian commercial cinema".
