Dusan Kovacevic was born on 12.July 1948. year Mrđenovcu near Sabac. Primary school finished in Šapcu, and in the gymnasium in the New Garden in 1968. Year. Academy, theatre, cinema, radio and television, studied in Belgrade; graduated from the Department Dramaturgije 1973. year. 1973. he has been a member of the Association of writers of Serbia. 1973. up until 1978. years working as a playwright for a Short program of TV Belgrade. In the period between 1986-1988. years working as a associate Professor at the Faculty of dramatic arts in Belgrade. Since 1998. year Director Zvezdara theatre in Belgrade. Lives and works as a professional writer, in Belgrade. October 2000. year was elected a correspondence member of SANU.
