Dinos Dimopoulos

He was born in Lefkas Akarnania on August 21, 1921. After his studies he continued his studies in Law at Athens University and at the Drama School of Giannoulis Σαραντίδη from which, taking the driver's license, abandoned in the third year of Law school in order to deal with the theater. In the beginning he worked as an actor, "zen πρεμιέ", almost in all the major theatres of Athens such as the National, Kotopouli, Logothetidi, Katerina, Mousouri, Athens etc.

Then the Dinos Dimopoulos dealt with the director (1953), both in the theatre and the cinema. He has directed about 50 plays which ανεβάστηκαν in the athenian scenes and more than a dozen other films. Also, and as a writer he has written seven plays of which stand out "The Prosecutor", "next" and "Basil the first slave". Last also had a deal with the radio and the tv.

He died on February 28, 2003 from a heart attack.
