Born to parents of German-americans, he received first violin lessons by his father. Very soon the child prodigy and became a student of the conservatory of Lübeck, and Berlin. At the age of 10 years old he gave his first concerts as official under the name of his mother, he plays “Zigeunerweisen” by Pablo de Sarasate accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Hamburg under the direction of Gerd Albrecht.
At the age of 12 he became a pupil of the violinist Polish Ida Haendel. At the age of 13, he receives an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft for which he recorded at the age of fifteen the 24 caprices of Niccolo Paganini. During a retreat on remand, against the will of his father he enrolled in 1999 at the Julliard School, in the class of Itzhak Perlman to deepen his knowledge of the violin. He leads a life of a concert performer in classical, but it is especially known for its concerts of arrangements, with whom he enthusiasm of the youth for classical music concerts. He plays the violin "San Lorenzo" of 1710 Antonio Stradivari, a violin of Guarnerius del Gesù of 1770 and a Guadagnini.
