Carlos Cunha Filho
Carlos Cunha Filho (Porto Alegre, brazil, 1950) is a brazilian actor who built his career in theatre, film and television of Rio Grande do Sul. In some studies, has been credited as Carlos Cunha.
A degree in directing (1977) and the arts (1986) from the UNIVERSITY, she started doing theater in the mid-1970s, the Body Dramatic to the Azores, a group of the experimental Theatre in the Area.
Since then, he has participated in more than thirty shows, passing out from his own interpretation of the Italian immigrant Giovanni Baracheta on "Bella Ciao" (1989), part-of-Dario Fo, directed by Néstor De. For this show, the Wedge, received the Award I Want-I want the best actor of the season award, given by the SATED, the union of artists of the Rio Grande do Sul, in addition to the top prize for interpretation at the National Festival of the Teatro de São José do Rio Preto. He was a two-time winner of the Trophy, the Azores, the main theatre awards in Porto Alegre, as a leading actor for "King Kong " Palace hotel" (1996), and the part of the author, a chilean Marco Antonio de la Parra; and as best actor in a supporting role for "Oedipus" (2008), part of Sophocles, adapted and directed by Mark Alabarse.
