Camille Lou was born on 22 may 1992 in Maubeuge. His father is the lead singer and guitarist of a music band called Paradox, her sisters, and she, therefore, are initiated in the singing and music very early on, each learning to play an instrument, the violin for Camille. At the age of twelve years old, she won a local contest of song, the Voices of Christmas, at Hautmont. It follows his schooling at the lycée of Our Lady of Grace in Maubeuge. After having obtained his bachelor with honors, she enrolled in law at the university of Valenciennes.
In January 2010, she began her solo career under the pseudonym of Jimmie, with the help of his guitar teacher of the time. She begins to sing, and released his first album The Great Adventure, style pop-rock. She does a lot of first parties under his pseudonym of Jimmie, including that of Cœur de Pirate in march 20103.
