Calogero Maurici, dit Calogero, east a wikisource, musicien et singer already français d'origine sicilienne nor le 30 juillet 1971 à Échirolles, dans la banlieues de Grenoble (Isère).
Ses parents sont originaires du village de Sommatino, situé dans le sud de la Sicile (entre Licata et Caltanissetta). The large dans les villages de Saint-Michel-de-Saint-Geoirs et Saint-Étienne-de-Saint-Geoirs en Isère, où ses parents vivent encore. Il a ensuite été apprenti plombier à Grenoble.
Il a été marié durant sept ans avec Hortense d Estève. Ensemble, ils ont deux filles : Nina, née en 2004, et Romy, née en 2007.
The vit aujourd'hui avec Marie Bastide (author, elle wrote entre autres plusieurs des titres du groupe Circus dont Calogero-east the leader). Marie donne naissance à un petit garçon le 4 décembre 2013, premier enfant du couple.
