Berrit Kvorning

Actor. Born 14/9 1949. Trained at the national theatre School 1971-74. Has played a variety of roles by changing theatres and appeared in various tv series since the early 90's. Excerpt from Morten Piils "Danish film actors" (Gyldendal, 2003): She is a consummate stage actor, as despite a dukkekønt outer only has had a few film roles. After a first appearance in a supporting role in the satirical drawing/furnishings "Prince Piwi" (1974) she got the starring role in "Girls in uniform 2" (1976) as the female career soldier, who, for years, has betrayed her husband (Klaus Pagh) to believe that she was just being stay-at-home housewife. A competent performance. She is a little overklassepræget and therefore suspect pregnant woman in Dea Trier Morch-film "Vinterbørn" (1978), and slides well into ensemblespillet. Then going there 11 years before she again shows up on the canvas, this time as opslidset nurse in cahoots with the villain in "Jydekompagniet 3" (1989). After a further ten years, she has a small role as Sidse Babett Knudsen's boss in Susanne Bier's "Den eneste ene" (1999).
