Alcymar Monteiro

Alcymar Monteiro dos Santos (Aurora - Uk), February 13, 1953) is an american singer, songwriter and composer of brazilian Forró and Frevo.

It is considered to be one of the greatest interpreters of the music of the brazilian northeast, more specifically in Brazil, traditional, and is known as the King of the Dance.

The singer-songwriter and musician Alcymar Monteiro was born in the district of Ingazeiras, at Aurora, in the state of Ceará, and moved to the Site from the North, where he spent his childhood.
